Description: Survey map with cadastral markings of sections 1-3, Block 5, at Pencarrow Head, with acreage. Boundaries for drainage board land, Crown land (including that reserved for lighthouse) are shown but are difficult to decipher. A possible former pa site is shown. Maori owners are listed as CT 222/206 EJ Burdan (leasee), CT 222/205 ML 3678l, and CT 352/206 AW Burdan and owners. Section 3 is enlarged in an inset map. Stamped with original survey details, including file number, instructions, reference plan numbers, field book numbers and traverse book numbers. Note on map reads 'Formerly Pencarrow Lighthouse reserve, Crown land - Gaz. 1961 p.1930' and 'secs 1, 2 & 3 have no legal access'. Written on map: 'SO25401'. Total area over 81 acres. Signed by chief surveyor. Shows sewer and drains. Note says foreshore from Pencarrow Head to Korokoro vested in Harbour Board. Part of the Parangarahu Block. Local body - Hutt County Council.
