Description: Shows a view of a part of the Marlborough Sounds, framed by foreground trees, with a steamship travelling past. This image also appeared on a "poster stamp" issued by the New Zealand Government Tourist and Publicity Department (see folder of stamps at Eph-A-TOURISM-NZ-1930s). Displayed in "Gifts to the Nation", National Library Gallery, October 2002 - March 2003. Dated 1934-1937, the dates during which G H Loney appears to have worked as Government Printer.
