Description: Panoramic view looking down from a steep grassy hill over Petane village (now known as Bay View) on the left. The Petane Hotel and the Hawke's Bay Motor Co. Ltd & Sadlery & Bait Stables are seen centre right. There is a house on a knoll overlooking a farming valley on the right. Hills behind. Harbour and possibly the Port of Napier in the far left middle distance.
