Description: Album of photographs taken by Albert Lyndsay McKenzie, showing Haywards substation, Centennial Exhibition, Union Airways aircraft at Rongotai airport, and views of war memorials, other monuments, some buildings and parks and gardens in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. There are also some scenic views of rivers and landscape, and one photograph of bee keepers at work on hives. Albert Lyndsay McKenzie, the father of the donor, was born in Christchurch. Three photographs taken by the Burton Brothers show the sunken pa at Ohinemutu (Burton Bros. 3880); two Maori rangatira, image entitled `Were Were & Kiriwere, Waipahihi, Lake Taupo' (Burton Bros. 3747); and Maori meeting at Whare-Komiti-Haerehuka, King Country (Burton Bros. 3624). Other - Photograph `Maori meeting at Whare-Komiti-Haerehuka, King Country' (Burton Bros. 3624) appears to have been taken at the same time as image at PA7-36-30 `Great chiefs at Whare-Komiti-Haerehuka, King Country (Burton Bros. 3622).
