Description: Cadastral map of a Maori township called Takapuahia (Takapuwahia), Porirua, showing mostly unnumbered sections, numbered rather than named streets, the water's edge. Named sections include the Wesleyan Church, a reserve for the Church of England and Te Hiko's house. Names added to the sections at a later date include Tanihana Te Rauparaha, Hoani Okoro, and some have crosses or prices on them. Swamp and bush are indicated.
