Description: The cartoon shows a beaten up New Zealand Railways train riding on tracks that are falling apart. Tied to the back of the train is Sir Basil Arthur. In the corner of the cartoon the cartoonist has drawn himself commenting on the plea of Sir Basil. Refers to the poor state of the New Zealand Railways trains that Sir Basil was trying to save from being demolished.
