Description: Map indicating boundaries of Maori lands and territories in the Hauraki Plains area extending to Thames and as far south as Tauranga Harbour. Includes the following Iwi references:- Uruopou lands now belonging to Ngatipaoa, Waitaha lands, Te Hakaipuku or Ngatikea land, Ngaiwi lands, Ngati Te Rauhea lands, Ngatihuarere territory, Lands of Ngatirotawa, Ngati Paeko, Ngati Tutea, Ngati Hotu, Ngatihako territory, Ngamarama lands. Some Maori placenames are hand-written on a printed, commercial map of what was then the Auckland district. Title supplied by cataloguer. Jas. E.L. believed to be James E.
