Note by S P Smith says "the Ao-mata-rahi part of this ms has been prepared by Major H P Tunuiarangi in a much fuller form and has been prepared for the journal by me in April 1906. The Nga-Oko part is embodied in my paper sketch on History of Southern H.B. etc - 1906".
