Comprises: Five images taken in the Rotorua/Ohinemutu/Wairakei areas: one of a group, and Maori guide, by thermal pools taken circa 1942 by Moore and Thompson; one of a collection of Maori artifacts, particularly wood carvings, taken at Ohinemutu circa 1941; one labelled 'Cottage Camp Ohinemutu' taken circa 1920s; one photomechanical print of the Waimangu Geyser; one taken near the Prince of Wales' Feathers geyser at Wairakei Two of a traction engine and caravans, at Blands Wood, Peel Forest, near Geraldine, taken 1919 and 1920. All are unidentified but the photographer has described this set as 'Picton to Days Bay', 'Muritai [Road, Lower Hutt?] to Wellington Airport', 'Hamilton to Ngaruawahia', 'Waihi Gorge to Tauranga', 'Whakatane to Rotorua', 'Russell to Bay of Islands,' 'Wairoa', and 'North Auckland to Ohope'. Includes: Views of a harbour, taken onboard a ship, possibly showing the Cook Strait and Malborough Sounds from the inter-island ferry. There are several views of an unidentified bay, possibly Days Bay, Eastbourne. Two slides of geothermal activity, Wairekei, Taupo District.
