Description: Photograph album compiled by Arthur Arrowsmith ca 1900 for Sydney Hislop. Contains views of scenery between Picton and Nelson, including Picton from the wharf, Brownlee's sawmill, Pelorus River and Pelorus Sound, the road and surrounding bush, men waiting for the mail on a stony beach, and an accommodation house halfway between Picton and Nelson. There is a photograph of the Clift house in Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, and of a Christmas gathering at a house in Patanga Crescent associated with the Holm family of the Holm shipping line.
