Description: Topographical map of coast line and inland country between Wairau and Canterbury from the coastal river entrance of the Awatere River to the coastal river entrance of the Kowhai River. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Shows placenames and Caverhill's tracks in red line, dated 1850-51. Notes in left hand corner provide information on native track being impracticable to sheep. Mentions track by Hamner supposed to be S.W. pass as seen by Mr Weld from the Clarence being practicable for sheep. Quantity: 1 manuscript map(s).
