Description: Survey map of the Umukereru Block in the Wainuioru Survey District, from Te Waiwhakaata southwards to the Wainuioru Stream. Shows boundaries, streams, and shared boundaries with neighbouring Maori land blocks, Tikiwhakairo and Weraawhaitiri (associated with Angapaua). The Umukereru Block has been surveyed into four sections with 500 acres as government land, 100 acres (beside Kahaparera), 632 and 541 acres. Note on map states boundaries were pointed out by Ngāti Pareru hapū and claimed by them. Annotations added to map before copying, now faint include the settler names: James Cooper on the 541 acres and ?Oroui ?Kauo on the government land. Drawn on a Lands and Surveys template map.
