Description: Views of the pumping station at Gracefield; National Library staff inspecting the John Drawbridge mural at the MWD storage complex Gracefield, and auctions of surplus government equipment at Gracefield, including the last such sale in 1983. The mural by John Drawbridge was created for the New Zealand pavillion at the international exhibition, Osaka, Japan, 1970. After the exhibition it was stored at Gracefield. In 1987 it was installed in the foyer of the National Library, Wellington, where it's original colours were changed by the artist.
