These cover correspondence, reports, addresses, periodicals, and official club business, including his association with New Zealand Sounds Hydro-Electric Concessions Ltd, British-American Co-operation Movement, and the New Zealand Club. The chief topics referred to are the Manapouri-Deep Cove hydro-electric scheme, relations between New Zealand and the United States, land development, the development of New Zealand's resources, and immigration. Also includes personal and family correspondence, articles, newspaper cuttings, and photographs. Some papers relate to organisations such as the British American Writers' Association and the Antarctic Society. Title supplied by Library. Arthur Leigh Hunt, founder of NZ Farmers Co-operative Distributing Company and a successful Wellington businessman, was a prolific writer with a wide range of interests, including advocating population and economic growth, as well as international co-operation.
