Description: Survey plan of township of Huiroa in the Ngatimaru Survey District. Surveyed by P A Dalziell in 1893, under John Strauchon the Chief Surveyor of Taranaki. The map was drawn by W Gordon and photolithographed at the Head Office of Lands and Survey Department in Wellington. The original printed title states 'Township of Buckley' - however the word Buckley has been crossed out and the name Huiroa inscribed in manuscript. Also stamped "Cancelled" - with stamp and manuscript annotations in pink ink. Map shows Makuri Stream, Makuri Road, Eason Street, Weller Street, Kerrisk Street, Julian Street, Tocker Street, Douglas Road and Recreation Reserve. Quantity: 1 map(s). Physical Description: Photolithographed map on linen-backed paper, with stamp and annotations, scale 6 chains to 1 inch, 27.5 x 35.5 cm
