Description: Relief map of the area from Wellington, including Lake Wairarapa following the Ruamahanga River and across to Wanganui, shows the routes of railway lines. The Great Trunk tramway runs from Wellington to Masterton. The Great Northern tramway from Masterton to Wanganui and the Great Northern Alternative Tramway follows the coast via Otaki to join with the Great Northern Tramway to Wanganui. Inns are marked, Captain Smith's Line and Turakina for boats which refers to the river. Quantity: 1 manuscript map(s).
