Description: View of Waioeka River looking south from the wharf with the township of Opotiki in the distance. Three rowboats and a dug-out canoe are in the foreground. The rowboat with the name `Puhi' painted on the stern has six Maori children on board, and two of the boys are standing up and holding the oars upright. A Maori boy is on the riverbank on the left.
