Description: The papers consist of: Application form submitted by Walter Dalziel; brief history of the farm and family; marriage certificate for Christopher Dalziel and Mary Anne Wighton, 1866; photographs (see below). The original owner of the land at Tuapeka West (later known as Braewick farm) was Christopher Dalziel who bought 100 acres in 1874. In the 1890s a further 630 acres were acquired. In 2005 the property was owned by Walter Dalziel, with his son Hamish being actively involved in the farm.
