Description: Panoramic view looking up at a large two-storeyed brick hospital building with a tiled roof. Gravel drive in the foreground. On the far left there is a gate with a label reading "Kiwi". Centre left on the lawn a statue of the Blessed Virgin faces the hospital. Herbaceous border on the near side of the drive, left and right, and there is a rockery border around the lawn in front of the building. A nun is leaning over the deep entrance porch flanked by two pillars, another balcony above. Fire escapes. Part of the building on the left is of a different design with arched windows, a decorative parapet and verandahs downstairs. Two cars are parked at the head of the drive on the far left of the buildings. Houses are visible amongst trees to the right of the hospital. Photograph taken in the 1920s by Robert Percy Moore.
