Description: View of the western entrance of the Mount Victoria Tunnel under construction. Included in the view are houses at the southern end of Mount Victoria, Wellington East Girls Colledge, St Mark's Anglican Church, and part of the Basin Reserve. A tram can be seen turning into Rugby Street from Dufferin Street, and there is a view up Patterson Street above the approaches to the tunnel.
