Many show buildings in Dunedin, including one house `Lisburn House' built for the Fulton family in 1865; also commercial buildings, church buildings, school buildings (Otago Boys' High School), and Dunedin Gaol. The church buildings include the Chapel in Leith Street, the Chapel in Great King Street, and the Baptist Chapel. About nineteen men can be seen working on the construction. One of a series of photographs taken during the day by William Archer Price.
