Possibly taken on 8 Aug 1908 by William Archer Price of Auckland, on the occasion of the ceremony to mark Northcote becoming a borough, or, on the occasion of the arrival or departure of the US Great White Fleet. Two steamships (with bunting) can be seen on the harbour.
