Description: Hand-drawn map of the area from just south of Kawhia Harbour across to Cambridge, extending northwards to Rangitoto and Waiheke Islands and across to the Waitakere River. The area bordering on part of the Kawhia Harbour is marked 'Land offered for sale'. Includes a partial boundary marked 'Confiscation line'. A dashed line marked by the compiler refers to the route taken on his journey. Includes references to: his father's farm, gig turned over here coming out, Mr. Todd's. A coal mine is marked on the Waikato River, north of Ngaruawahia. Includes the Waipa River and named settlements. Quantity: 1 manuscript map(s).
