Description: Hurae Puketapu and Te Whenuanui, standing alongside a carved gateway (waharoa) Kiri Tahi Pati (at Mataatua ?), ca 1905. Photograph taken by W.A.N. (William Augustus Neale, farmer and photographer at Waikaremoana) for D Duncan series (David Duncan, photographer at Opunake). Both men are wearing feather cloaks and holding taiaha.
