Description: Shows a high waterfall amongst bush-clad hills. A large native tree frames the view in the left foreground Vendor's auction catalogue attributed this work to Cuthbert Clarke. ATL attributed it to Merrett on grounds of style, and the hand-written title, apparently in the hand of Merrett, not of Clarke. Attributed to Merrett on grounds of style and handwriting of title. Inscriptions: Recto - beneath image - [Title]; Unsigned and undated. Merrett was in New Zealand from 1841. Quantity: 1 drawing(s). Physical Description: Sepia ink and wash, 150 x 180 mm.
