Description: View from hilltop at Pukerua bay, looking north up the coast across Te Pai-o-te-Rangi, the Paekakariki cliffs, on the right hand side; Kapiti Island is visible out to sea on the left and the cone of Mt Taranaki just visible on the horizon on the far left. In the foreground a Maori family is crossing the Taua Tapu track, a Ngati Toa trail, and a few houses can be seen on the beach at Pukerua at the foot of the foreground hill.
