Description: Cadastral map of part of Masterton, showing land blocks bounded by Renall Street and Essex Street between the Pownall Street extention and Chapel Street. Shows two lots of numbered sections (listed as 1-20 Renall St and 1-41 Essex St). One third of the sections indicate acreage, some include survey measurements. The edge of the Waipakuku Stream is visible on sections 40 and 41. Pencil annotations include owners names: Dixon, Mrs ? Mitchell, F ?Dunn, WS Falconer, WC Daff, LS St George, HR Wood, Mr MA Bennett, Mrs ?Inns, AJ Gidding, Mrs GS Gidding, ?Pager, Peron N, Ralph S, Stuart McNab, PG Rose, Galway, Whittaker, Bogey, Ralph, Jago, H Cole, Mrs Bunny, Cork. The following names have been crossed out: Whittaker, WS Lett. A few sections include price (between 100 and 125 pounds sterling) and some are marked sold. Description: Cadastral map of part of Masterton, showing Renall, Cole, Pownall and Chapel Street and two proposed, unnamed roads. Shows numbered sections between 11 and 52 and 38 and 95 (not inclusive) on Renall St near Pownall St, and 7 and 50 on Cole St (not inclusive). Some sections include price, a few include acreage. Some sections include name of owner: Mitchell, Mackersey, O'Connell, Meredith. A tennis court and over 9 acres of gardens are depicted. Some names and notes are added as pencil annotations: Temple, Jones, Matthews, Dixon, Browns; some are reserved for Gravell (four sections). Note says 'reserved either side of Brown's house'.
