Physical Description: Lithograph, two-tone 368 x 522 mm Provenance: Collection of Alexander Turnbull? Turnbull ordered a print 'View of Nelson Harbour' [sic] from Angus and Robertson, Sydney, in a letter of 20 April 1896. He paid 42 shillings for the print.

Mount Taranaki (somewhat distorted) rises in the background. Attributed to Heaphy on the basis of his identical drawing in a sketchbook in the Auckland Institute and Museum, done in 1840 This image was also reproduced in 'Information respecting the settlement of New Plymouth ...
