Description: The family home with three gables and a lean-to, an attic storey in the gables on either side of the front door. Tall chimneys at both ends of the house, and an established garden, with a circular bed in front of the house. Bush is shown behind. The house was in Lower Hutt Inscriptions: Recto - bottom right - Initialled L F S Lucelle Frances Swainson (1842-1910) was the daughter of noted botanist William Swainson (1824-1887).
