Description: Published map showing boundaries of Central Avon Road District, Riccarton, Christchurch. Also showing cadastral information such as numbered sections, from the Waimakariri River, southwards to Lincoln Road, and bounded by the Prebbleton and the Spreydon road districts and Hagley Park. Main roads are named, the branches of the Avon River are shown, as are reserves. Some sections on Fendall Town (Fendalton), Lincoln and Riccarton roads include in pencil the name of the owner (some are difficult to decifer): Wakefield, Ronley, Shand, ?Trigger, Evan, Worsley, Maunsell, Ward, Fendall, WGB, T Parr, Pollard, ?Lathuche, Adderly, T Hanmer, A Heathcote, Denmon, H Leslie, and IA.
