Description: Shows two carved Maori waka, full of paddlers, three men in each canoe standing to encourage their teammates. The front men standing hold weapons; the middle standing men hold flags; and the men at the back steer their canoes. The lower image shows an inset of four men soaking up to their necks in a rectangular hot pool at Ohinemutu, inset into the top left of a larger scene of the interior of the Native Land Court at Ohinemutu.
