Description: Shows a family living in cardboard boxes. A neighbour living in the same circumstances has been reading the newspaper and tells the family that the church is building a cathedral from cardboard after seeing how people like them live. Context: There are serious problems over adequate housing in Christchurch after the earthquakes of 2010 and 2011. There is continuing debate over whether the cathedral should be demolished or not and in the meantime a Japanese architect Shigeru Ban has been commissioned to create a cathedral from cardboard.
