Description: Comprises black and white prints relating to Sybil Edith Anton (nee Nimmo) and the Nimmo family. Most images feature Sybil. Contains formal studio portraits and informal photographs of family and friends. Taken by a range of photographers, some unknown, circa 1914 to 1949. Many photographs are inscribed in pencil with names. One group of photographs relate to the Nimmo family. They show William Henry Nimmo and his motorcycle club, Thelma Nimmo in her Normal High School class portrait 1914, Kathleen Nimmo, Charles Prior, Ursula Nimmo, Sybil Edith at home, and with Sidney James Anton, Thelma Rollins and Tish. Includes view of the gazebo at Karori Reservoir and a post card of the Duchess of York, possibly issued at the time of her 1927 tour of New Zealand. One group of photographs relate to Sybil Edith with friends, cousins, siblings and workmates. View are taken at beaches, country picnics and gardens.
