The Ngaio Gorge Road is in the immediate foreground, as well as the motorway, Thorndon Container Wharf, houses in Wadestown. The railway yards, Thorndon and CBD can be seen in the middle distance. Taken at sunrise (note lack of vehicles on the motorway).
