Description: Photographic prints, possibly relating to the McGregor family, of a range of subjects, mainly taken ca 1940s. Portraits include three photographs of twins at different stages of childhood, ca 1890s, two World War I era portraits (one of a woman, the other of a man in uniform), and portraits from the 1940s. Also contains an image of a family group, possible with W H Brown at the centre, and an image of an elderly man, possibly of W H Brown, holding his military discharge papers. World War II photographs include soldiers in uniform, Royal New Zealand Air Force base in the New Hebrides (later Vanuatu) and scenic island images, and an unidentified RNZAF sports team from the base. Individuals are identified on the rear of two group images. Two further photographs, one of a crowd during a ceremony and the other of men in a dining hall, have the name J McGregor on the rear of the print. Various images from the 1940s include a carpentry class group portrait, the Air Force massed band, a pipe band in Dunedin, the T S S Ernslaw on Lake Wakatipu, an Auckland Wharf scene, a thermal are behind the Regent Theatre [model of pink and white terraces?], and the Tongariro Chateau.
