Description: Shows a stretch of the Whanganui River at Aramoho, with a large two-storeyed house amongst trees and lawn on the far side. The house is probably Sedgebrook (or Sedge Brook) Grange. Two girls walk along a riverside path in the foreground, and on the river six adults and one or two children pass by in a rowboat, near a flight of wooden steps leading down to the river. Probably shows Sedgebrook Grange, the house of Major John Nixon. The original Sedgebrook Grange burned down and was rebuilt in 1882 Other Titles - Aramoho, Whanganui Inscriptions: Recto - bottom left - C Aubrey / 1894 Quantity: 1 watercolour(s).
