Description: Shows six scenes of Wellington and Petone beaches: a couple and a child struggling against the wind at Island Bay as a boat pitches in high seas; a couple and a child struggling against the wind at Lyall Bay as a surfer runs past them into the waves; a view from the footpath of a row of legs of sunbathers lying under the wall at Oriental Bay; sunbathers lying on the beach at Days Bay and man looking at a shapely woman in a bikini; a man and a woman bracing themselves against the wind at Petone Beach; a man, woman and buried child in mounds of sand at Worser Bay.
