Description: The cartoon shows a group of men at a barber's shop. One of them is reading a newspaper with a headline reading, Australia concerned with NZ's lack of defence capability. A man having his hair cut makes a comment that refers to rugby, but the headline refers to armed forces. Refers to Australian concerns about New Zealand's small defence forces. Exhibited in 'Guts and Glory' an exhibition of rugby cartoons, organised by the New Zealand Cartoon Archive Trust in association with the Alexander Turnbull Library, National Library of New Zealand, at the National Library Gallery, 15 July - 7 November 1999, and then touring until 2001.
