Part of the NZ Cartoon Archive Peter Bromhead, born 1933, is a New Zealand commercial interior designer, as well as cartoonist and illustrator for The Auckland Herald, The Herald on Sunday, and The Marlborough Express. He also writes and illustrates weekly for The Auckland Herald Business supplement, and has published 10 books including 3 children's books. He was made a Member of New Zealand Order of Merit in the 1999 Birthday Honours for services as a cartoonist, and in 2001 received His Royal Highness Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour for promoting Danish products.
