Super 14 pea-souper fog factor. "Did you go to the game mate?" "Yeah! We sat together!"...

Date: 2006

From: Tremain, Garrick, 1941- :[Digital cartoons published in the Otago Daily Times]

Reference: DCDL-0001654

Description: In three frames two men discuss the Super 14s final at tea break. One of them has a newspaper with the headline 'Super 14 pea-souper fog factor'. He is surprised to discover that he was sitting beside his colleague at the match but hadn't realised because of the fog. They agree that it was the best game they ever heard. Refers to the Super 14 final held in Christchurch 27 May, in which the Crusaders defeated the Hurricanes 19 to 12. The fog was so dense that people couldn't see from one side of the field to the other. Quantity: 1 digital cartoon(s).
