Description: Contains copies of speeches by King Tawhiao and others, on the occasion of the laying down of arms in 1881, together with a narrative account of this and related events. Also a listing of Kingitanga supporters in the Hauraki and Bay of Plenty, where hapu have signed over their land to the mana of King Tawhiao; the list is of the hapu affiliated to the Kingitanga, the names of members of the hapu and the rohe of the hapu.
