Description: Photograph album of views of Wellington, ranging from copies of early paintings from the 1840s, and early photographs up to the 1870s, to a series of postcards from the 1920s. Most of the early images have clear descriptions, giving year made, location, and in some cases further information about buildings that can be seen. For example, one view shows Kebble's house, now the site of the Grand Opera House. Views in the postcards are identified, but no dates are given.
