Description: The last Central Otago gold escort, changing horses at Roxburgh. The driver, Jimmie Dungay, stands on the pole of the well laden coach. The escort team is made up of policemen and Bank of New Zealand staff. The police, from left to right, are: Constable Charlie Bonar, Constable Fuohy and Sergeant Beaumont. The Bank of New Zealand staff include Duncan MacGregor in the coach and L B Haines who is standing by the truck. Next to him is James Pearce and on the right is T E Corkill.
