Description: A list of photographs taken around the Buller area, from Westport to Inangahua, Reefton and south of Charleston It is not certain whether the photographs referred to were taken by Hodgkins himself or not, although there is no evidence in the sketchbook of his visiting areas like Inangahua and Reefton. It seems more probable that he purchased photographs of the area, while in Westport. He refers in an earlier drawing in this sketchbook to a photograph of Fiordland taken by the Burton Brothers The first photograph mentioned may be a copy of the photograph 'Gold claim, Addison's Flat' reference number PA1-q-069-02-2 Quantity: 1 holograph. Further north is the [Little] Wanganui River, and Karamea and Oparara, both surrounded by mud flats. At the north end of the map is an area marked `mussels'.
