Description: Shows two men kneeling beside small pond in foreground, with their horses standing beside them. In middle distance on rolling hills are: the fenced redoubt, other village buildings (said to be Te Awamutu on Hocken record for E A Williams original), including two churches, one at right and one at left. Copied from E A Williams' "Blewitt's Redoubt, Rangiawhia. 1864", in Hocken Library, page 53 of his diary. That view is said to show Te Awamutu.
