Description: Shows three scenes of the hazards of a race through Wellington's streets. In the first a race organiser is explaining that because of the council worker's strike which has resulted in piles of rubbish bags on the streets, the race will be a hurdle race. In the second scene a contestant is doing a 'water jump' over the Manners Mall fountain. In the third scene a contestant is lying on the ground after being hit by a demolition ball when he was running past a demolition site. Refers to the construction boom in central Wellington in the 1980s.
