Description: Part of a larger map, showing coastline from Massacre Bay (Golden Bay), Tasman Bay, part of the Marlborough Sounds, eastwards to Cloudy Bay, including hydrographic soundings in fathoms. Also shows topographical detail of the inland area, southwards to lakes Howick (Rotoroa) and Arthur (Rotoiti), including placenames of bays, rivers and ranges, with contour shading.
