Description: Collection comprising material accumulated by Maree Kibblewhite relating to her life and interests; particuarly in theatre and music, Palmerston North, and ephemera. Some material relates to school and amateur productions of works by New Zealand composers. Namely: a vocal score of Ross Harris' The Clockmaker; programmes and 6 photographs of St Matthews Collegiate and Rathkeale College, Masterton, production of Philip Norman's `A Stab in the Dark', 1977; and the libretto for this production. Also includes a scrapbook album containing correspondence, handouts, programmes, clippings and photographs relating to the 1971 production of Jenny McLeod's `Under the Sun', of which Moxon was a member of the cast. Photographs taken by unidentified photographers show: - Palmerston North sports teams (taken between 1908 and 1911). - Master Builders' Federation conferences (taken between 1938 and 1950). - School opera production from 1977 featuring composer Philip Norman. Includes ephemera relating to Wellington businesses, local body elections, theatre, and lobby groups. Manuscript material is part of the Archive of New Zealand Music. Title supplied by Library. Information professional Maree Kibblewhite was previously known as Maree Moxon. She has lived in Palmerston North and Wellington; and has been active in school and amateur theatre and musical productions. Her father Richard Moxon was a master builder based in Palmerston North. The descriptive records have been linked to her name record within the Library catalogue.. Processing information: Previous donations by Kibblewhite of manuscript formats (known as MS-Group-0316) and photographic formats (PA-Group-00992) were reunited in this collection record in February 2023.
