Description: Commentary from the artist: 'Does something not seem just a teeny bit wrong about blast-mining directly under a residential area....?' Underneath a quiet house, with notices proclaiming the peace and calm of Waihi, a miner labelled 'Gold-diggers unlimited' and 'Shake Rattle and Roll' is about to ignite dynamite. The catchphrase 'Nek Minnit' warns of the explosion to come. The mining firm of Newmont Waihi Gold was granted permission on 7 May 2013 to open the Correnso Underground Mine, which would be directly underneath a residential area.
