Description: Two women discuss various cartoon-related events occuring in Wellington, rather than talk about the Urewera verdicts or the search and surveillance bill. Context: The Search and Surveillance Bill was passed by Parliament on 22 March 2012, giving powers exercised by police in its heavily criticised 2007 so-called "terror raids" in Ruatoki to a number of government agencies. Those raids led to the trial of the Urewera Four, where a jury failed to reach a verdict on the police's case they were part of an organised criminal group.
